ProjectCorps™, a leading business and technology consulting firm in Seattle is seeking a Senior Project QA Consultant with exceptional consulting skills to work in diverse business environments to expand and enhance our clients’ program or project success by providing independent assessments of the assigned projects.

As a Senior Project QA Consultant, you will provide early warnings of potential risks and issues rather than simply reporting on events that have already occurred. Your findings and recommendations will be based on a combination of evidence, knowledge of industry standards, knowledge of the project, knowledge of change management, and professional judgment drawn from experience. Given minimal guidance and direction, the candidate will:

  • Have the skills to be predictive, anticipatory, forward-looking, and evidenced-based in assessments
  • Deploy an approach that is methodical and based on industry standards and best practices
  • Be independent, objective, and not aligned with any individual stakeholder
  • Communicate in a straightforward, accurate, and specific manner that highlights aspects of the project requiring additional attention or action
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of how to successfully manage programs/projects
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of how to build and maintain a successful project team
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of capacity management and resourcing
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of Organizational Change Management
  • Be able to acquire the knowledge necessary about the political environment in which the projects operate
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of integrity

Qualifications:

  • Deep experience with program and /or project management methodologies and best practices to include: Scope, Cost, Time, Integration, Human Resource and Communications Management
  • Ability to predict, anticipate and manage project risks and issues
  • Experience in diverse industries and business subject areas
  • Ability to author Readiness Assessments, Quality Assurance plans, Executive Monthly and Project Close Out Reports
  • Understands and follows the consultative approach as part of core work style
  • Disciplined, organized, and team-oriented work style
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required, MBA or MS in appropriate field preferred
  • PMP certification required, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of direct program and/or project experience on increasingly complex projects
  • 5+ years working as a consultant or as an independent contractor.
  • Strong capability with Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel for Client work as needed
